We will begin with a panoramic tour of the Royal Palace and its 7 gates (Dar Al-Makhzen) on the way to the fascinating world of Fez El Bali, the oldest and most extensive medina in Morocco, a UNESCO World Heritage site, with 785 mosques and more than 2,000 squares, streets, and alleys that lead you on a labyrinthine journey back in time. From Bab Boujloud to Es-Seffarine square, we will travel through the centuries from the 9th to the 19th century. We will explore various buildings, artisan guilds, the tanneries, a Medersa, and the pottery workshops. Lunch in a typical restaurant. Free afternoon. Overnight stay.

We will continue with the sumptuous Bahia Palace, the Jewish Quarter (Mellah), passing through the Koussaria Square to the famous Jemaa el-Fnaa square, a living museum and intangible cultural heritage of humanity, where storytellers, snake charmers, jugglers, dancers, and more, make up an authentic court of miracles. We will continue through the souk and its alleys full of businesses, workshops, and terraces to meet various artisan guilds such as carpenters, sharpeners, and a Berber pharmacy offering remedies and natural products, mostly derived from argan oil. Lunch at a typical restaurant. Free afternoon. Overnight stay.
