Itinerary

Day 01: Guatemala City Airport – Antigua Guatemala
Arrival at La Aurora International Airport for assistance and transfer to Antigua Guatemala. Accommodation.

Day 02: Antigua City Half-Day Tour
Breakfast. Departure for a visit to one of the most important cities during the colonial period in the Americas. Upon arrival, visit the Church of La Merced, the Plaza de Armas, and the Cathedral. Free time for shopping, and at the designated time, return to your hotel for accommodation. Afternoon free.

Day 03: Antigua Guatemala – Chichicastenango – Lake Atitlán
Breakfast. Early departure to the Chichicastenango market, located in the central Guatemalan highlands. It is famous for its colorful market. Visit the Church of Santo Tomás. At the right time, head towards Lake Atitlán, surrounded by three volcanoes: Atitlán, Tolimán, and San Pedro. Its crystal-clear waters reflect the natural beauty of the lake. Panoramic visit to Panajachel. At the appropriate time, transfer to your hotel for accommodation.

Day 04: Boat Ride to San Juan La Laguna – Lake Atitlán – Guatemala City
Breakfast. At 8:00 AM, board a boat that will take us to the village of San Juan La Laguna. Upon arrival, enjoy a walking tour and visit the Catholic Church. Then, visit a chocolate factory to see the production process, followed by a visit to the textile factory where they show the dyeing process for their beautiful fabrics. You’ll also visit artisans working with medicinal plants. At the designated time, return to Panajachel, then transfer to Guatemala City for accommodation.

Day 05: Guatemala City – Flores – Tikal – Flores
Packed breakfast provided at the hotel reception. At 4:00 AM, transfer to the airport for the flight to Mundo Maya International Airport. Upon arrival, transfer to Tikal, the most important archaeological site of the Mayan world. Tikal, meaning "Place of Voices," was built during the Maya Classic period. Upon arrival at Tikal, your guide will show you a model of the temple complex and the Acropolis. Visit Complexes Q and R, then continue to the Central Acropolis and the temples, including Temple I, "The Great Jaguar," and Temple II, "The Masks," which is considered one of the most important in the complex. Visit the Lost World (time permitting). In the afternoon, return to the Visitor Center for lunch. At the appropriate time, transfer to your hotel for accommodation.

Day 06: Flores – Yaxhá – Flores – Guatemala City
Breakfast. At the designated time, depart for the Yaxhá archaeological site. Yaxhá was an ancient ceremonial center and city of the pre-Columbian Mayan civilization. It has evidence of Teotihuacan influence in its architecture and stelae. It also features the only twin pyramids outside of Tikal, also known as the Stelae Plaza. Lunch. At the designated time, transfer to the airport for the return flight to Guatemala. Accommodation in a selected hotel in Guatemala City.

Day 07: Hotel – Guatemala City Airport
Breakfast. Transfer to the airport for your return flight home.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS FOR RESERVATION
Availability Request: To make a reservation, availability must be requested through your assigned travel agent. The agent will contact you via email and/or phone to confirm availability.
PASSPORT
Passport Requirements: A clear copy of each passenger’s passport is required, which must be valid for at least 6 months from the start of the trip. The passport copy must be submitted no later than 45 days before the trip departure.
DOCUMENTS
Vouchers and/or Travel Documents: Vouchers and/or travel documents will be sent via email 8 days prior to the trip departure.
PAYMENT TERMS TO CONFIRM RESERVATION
Payment Conditions: Payments to confirm the reservation must be made according to the following terms:
Initial deposit: $200 USD
50% of total value: Must be paid at least 180 days before the trip.
100% of total value: Must be paid at least 90 days before the trip.
CANCELLATION POLICY
IF YOU CANCEL AFTER RESERVING OR PURCHASING THE PROGRAM (subject to the terms and conditions of the land operators*):

0 to 45 days before departure: 100% charge – No refund
46 to 60 days before departure: 50% charge of the total program value
61 to 80 days before departure: 30% charge of the total program value
81 or more days before departure: Administrative and operational fee of $50 USD per passenger
