We’ll then walk through Avenida de Mayo, famous for its varied European architectural styles. Afterward, we’ll head to La Boca, a colorful neighborhood known for its Italian influence and the first port of Buenos Aires, where we’ll see Boca Juniors Stadium (viewed from outside, entrance not included). Continuing to the northern part of the city, we’ll visit Recoleta and Palermo, the city's aristocratic areas with beautiful parks. Return to the city center. Accommodation.

Day 04 - El Calafate

Breakfast at the hotel. In the morning, we’ll head to Perito Moreno Glacier: Departing from El Calafate, we’ll travel 50 km along paved roads to Los Glaciares National Park (UNESCO World Heritage site since 1981), continuing another 30 km to reach the Perito Moreno Glacier. Along the way, we’ll pass Lake Argentino, home to abundant birdlife such as black-necked swans, flamingos, and cauquenes. As we enter the park, we’ll see the lush forests of Nothofagus trees (ñires, guindos, lengas), with splashes of vibrant flowers like the red Notro. Once at the glacier, we’ll go to the main viewing platform and take a walk on the boardwalks, offering different perspectives of the glacier. Perito Moreno is one of the few glaciers in the world that is advancing, making it a stunning natural spectacle. The glacier dams the waters of Brazo Rico of Lake Argentino, raising the water level up to 30 meters, and creating a tunnel that collapses periodically, offering incredible icefalls. We’ll also take a Nautical Safari on the north arm of Lake Argentino, bringing us within 200 meters of the glacier’s majestic southern wall. The boat travels almost 3 km along this glacier wall, allowing us to witness ice calving and the incredible beauty of the icebergs. The boat departs from the “Bajo de las Sombras” pier, about 7 km before the glacier viewpoint. Return to the hotel in the afternoon. Accommodation.
